Updating the website

From CT 110:

cd /opt/homelab-website
# Only if the directory is a Git clone:
git pull --ff-only
docker compose config --quiet
docker compose up -d --build
docker compose ps
curl -I http://127.0.0.1:8088

Rollback

Keep the previous working Git commit hash and Docker image available. Revert the source to the tested commit, then rebuild. Make a backup of repository and deployment configuration before major upgrades.

Monitoring

Add an Uptime Kuma HTTP(S) monitor for https://homelab.stevehomelab.online and optionally send alerts to Discord using a private webhook.
